The star Pakistan bowler who rattled India’s top order in the T20 World Cup 2021, has been ruled out of the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. Mohammad Hasnain has been named as replacement for injured Shaheen Afridi.
The physiotherapists have advised Afridi to rest for four to six weeks. He has been out of action since he suffered an injury during the first Test against Sri Lanka in July.
Shaheen Afridi is expected to return for the tri-series in New Zealand which begins on October 7.

Mohammad Hasnain replaces injured Shaheen Afridi
The 22-year old pacer who has featured in just 18 T20Is for Pakistan, has been named as replacement for Shaheen Afridi.
He is not the only young and inexperienced bowler in the Pakistan bowling attack. There is the 19-year old Naseem Shah who is yet to make his T20I debut while Shahnawaz Dahani has played just 2 T20Is so far.
Hasnain has played in the Big Bash, PSL, and The Hundred. From a total of 82 T20s, the right-arm pacer has 100 wickets at an economy of 8.51.
