What Is an Accumulator Bet?

For those new to betting, an accumulator involves placing a bet on several outcomes in a single wager. All your predictions must come through for the bet to be successful. Accumulators are popular because they offer the chance of a high payout, even with a relatively small stake.

Right, then… As we’ve explained accumulators, here’s a possible Matchday 38 accumulator featuring potential goalscorers for the Premier League’s final weekend.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka to Score Against Everton

arsenal

Bukayo Saka to score anytime at odds of 2.05

Buoyed by a resounding victory at Old Trafford, title-chasing Arsenal head into the final day in a rich vein of form. Everton, on the other hand, having secured their Premier League safety, will be looking to finish the season on a high note with a positive result against the Gunners. While they’ve boasted one of the most in-form defences in recent weeks, Arsenal’s talisman, Bukayo Saka, could be the key to unlocking the Toffees’ backline.

It won’t be wise to overlook Saka in the Anytime Goalscorer market. His odds are fairly priced, as you’d expect. The England international has been averaging a very respectable 0.49 goals per 90 minutes this season.

His shooting stats are impressive too. Saka has racked up 108 shots this campaign, with 37 finding the target. That translates to an average of 3.31 shots and 1.14 shots on target per 90 minutes, respectively. Saka has been a mainstay in the Arsenal lineup, starting 35 games this season and averaging 83.8 minutes per game. And let’s not forget, he’s on penalty duties, which is always a bonus for a goalscorer.

Manchester City’s Phil Foden to Score Against West Ham

manchester city

Phil Foden to score anytime at odds of 2.10

The reigning champions, Manchester City, host West Ham at the Etihad for their final showdown. Victory would secure a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title for Pep Guardiola’s men. City’s attack is brimming with firepower, but we reckon Phil Foden is the most likely candidate to find the net.

In fine form this season, Foden netted again last weekend, grabbing a goal in City’s thumping 4-0 win over Fulham. He’s arguably England’s standout player heading into the Euros, and we expect him to make his mark on the final day.

Foden’s been amongst the Premier League’s most prolific midfielders this season, ranking seventh in the scoring charts with 17 goals. The only midfielder ahead of him is Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, who benefits from taking penalties.

Underlying numbers show Foden’s true quality. His non-penalty expected goals (xG) of 0.34 per 90 minutes puts him in the top 12% of attacking midfielders and wingers across Europe’s top five leagues. Even more impressive, he’s been outperforming this metric, averaging a remarkable 0.55 non-penalty goals per 90 minutes this season.

Erling Haaland is the only Manchester City player with more goals than Foden this season. The 23-year-old has scored six goals in his last five outings, so he should be eager to add to that tally.

Morgan Gibbs-White to Score Against Burnley

Morgan Gibbs-White to score anytime at 3.40

Nottingham Forest will take the pitch against Burnley, knowing their Premier League survival is all but ensured. On paper, they can still get relegated if Vincent Kompany and company thrash them and Luton picks up a significant victory against Fulham to overturn the +12 goal advantage the Tricky Trees currently have over the Bedfordshire outfit.

Morgan Gibbs-White has been instrumental in prolonging Forest’s Premier League tenure. When they splashed out a club-record £25 million to sign him from Wolves, many questioned the hefty price tag. However, the midfielder has silenced his critics and become a key figure for the East Midlands club.

White has found the back of the net five times this season, and made 10 assists. A leaky Burnley backline, that has shipped 76 goals this season, should grant him enough scoring chances. The 24-year-old could be on the move this summer, so he would like to bid the City Ground crowd farewell with another goal.

Rodrigo Muniz to Score Against Luton

Rodrigo Muniz to score anytime at 2.62

Kenilworth Road will say goodbye to the Premier League as Luton Town host Fulham on the final day of the season. A late resurgence proved to be too little too late for the Hatters, while 14th-placed Fulham will hope to end the season with their second win in nine games. While the Cottagers have toiled late season, Rodrigo Muniz has been a ray of sunshine.

The Brazilian did not look back after breaking his duck in February. He’s now notched nine goals, the highest tally for any Fulham player.  With Aleksandar Mitrovic’s departure leaving a big hole up front, Muniz has stepped up admirably, proving himself as a capable goalscorer for the London outfit.

Luton has been defensively fragile lately, failing to keep a clean sheet in a staggering 16 Premier League matches on the bounce. They’ve even conceded two or more goals in 12 of those games. This could be the perfect chance for Muniz to bag his tenth goal of the season.

Son Heung-min to Score Against Sheffield

Son Heung-min to score anytime at 1.73

After a promising start under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham’s Champions League hopes went up in smoke following Tuesday’s defeat to Manchester City. They’ll now wrap up their 23/24 Premier League campaign with a trip to Sheffield United.

To secure fifth place and Europa League football next season, Tottenham need a result at Bramall Lane.  Even a draw would be enough to guarantee fifth and their Europa League spot, regardless of what happens in the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City on May 25th.

Despite his team’s struggles, Son Heung-Min delivered another prolific season. The Spurs ace scored 17 and assisted nine this time around, and he will be licking his lips before taking on the worst defence of the league.

Son had to take on the likes of Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal in three of his last five outings. He still managed to return two goals in these matches, which could have easily been three had he not missed a glaring chance late on against the current league leaders. A Sheffield United side that has let in as many as 101 goals this season, will be a much welcome change for the South Korean.

This combination of bets has a potential yield of 66x, as par 22bet odds. Yes, you’ve read that right! You will get 66 times your money should all the pieces fall in the right places. There are many other markets available for Premier League accumulators, like this, so we recommend exploring all the options and placing your bets based on your strongest hunches.
