The English Team Announced for the T20 World Cup

The England Cricket team was announced on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The final 15 announced sees the return of pacer, Jofra Archer. Jofra was absent from international cricket for over a year due to an injury to his elbow. Another returning addition to the squad is that of Chris Jordan who has not been seen on the pitch since September of 2023.

The Squad:

 The British Squad has the notable exclusion of Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes. Ben Stokes, the man who led England to victory in their previous campaign,  pulled himself out of the World Cup to recover from an injury and is focusing on returning to the test format of cricket. Chris Woakes is also notably missing and is replaced by Chris Jordan.
